Who is ranger Alyssa anyway? Maybe someone can post a picture of the
lass so all of us who could not attend Moab can associated a face to
the name?

Just my opinion, but I think that my bike is perfectly safe without the
sidestand safety switch, and the clutch safety switch, as I have been
motorcycling longer than those were even thought of. I therefore didn't see
the wisdom in maintaining a system that has the potential to kill your
engine and strand you. I like being able to start my bike in gear or out
with the clutch, the sidestand up or down.
Believe me, you'll never miss them, and if you ever break your clutch cable
and are without a spare, you can still make it home if you disable the
safety switches.
