kill switch rev.1

Found the side stand safety switch info in the archives and now realize this topic has likely been beat to death in the past. I'll begrudgingly drive to work tomorrow & fiddle with the angle of the safety switch bracket some more when I get home. Then defeat the switch if need be. Is there a trick to re-installing the cover of the safety switch? Maybe I'm tightening it too much... or the clip that holds the top of the cover has bent forward? Any thoughts appreciated.
