I get 'em locally for $43 and $25 at one shop and $46 and $28 (in a 3.25) at another shop. I think Parts Unlimited lists them for $58 and$34 (3.00). Any price less than catalog list works for me, but I generally try to shoot for at least 10% below list on most things I buy at cycle shops. what causes tire cupping?
I have a Kenda 270 on the front on it is cupping pretty bad. I didn't put the tires on the bike and I don't know it I will be changing the tires, but, are these 270's a directional tire? Do they need to be put on a certain way so they don't cup? Is there anyway to get rid of the cupping, without buying new tires? I know on an car tire if it is feathering or cupping the car is either out of alignment or the tire is not balanced. Is this the case with the KLR as well? Just wondering. Any help would be nice.
Thanks
