KLRs eat cluch cables like peanuts, especialy if you dont lube them. Its the only KLR-specific part that my dealer actualy keeps on hand. Get a new cable, one of the little cable lubing gizzies and a can of Cable Life. Pretreat the new cable ant it will last twice as long. -Tom '96 KLR 650> Hi all , I have a question reguarding klr clutches , I have a 99 A13 > with 10K on it and the clutch release point seems to be getting a > little vague, - shorter contact point, also it does not slip and has > never slipped, has been kept in adjustment as per factory manual, and > not abused. has anybody ran into this problem ? > thanks , Gary... ps. new to list, thanks for having me..
