[dsn_klr650] trapp ids2
I finally got thru to SuperCrapp.
They took my concerns and will provide a solution early next week. Read
that as... they will expand two new s-bend pipes for me and send them
out. Two because I have one that doesn't fit and my bud has one that
didn't fit properly, the one we made work today. It seems that we pay good
money for something designed to work and we get something that we have to
make work, by resolving the problem with some creative engineering. The
dimensions I got were 1.75" ID of Silencer and 1.70" OD of S-Bend. 50
thousandths is obviously too much. The guy (James, I think) said that the
clearance should be on the order of 20 thousandths.
We decided to go the tail pipe expander route. Worked well.
Still used some Red RTV.
Thanks All
