This was the coolest thing about going to the Rally last year - and why it
is very disappointing to have to miss it this year - the fact that so many
of us 'knew' each other... we just had to put faces to the names and
personalities.

My wife has two though is a KLR650 that goes by the name Da' Bomb.
And her man named Dash.
Da' Bomb completed stage one of her resurrection last night. Frame (new
paint job) on milk crate (no milk stains, doesn't need a paint job), Engine
(with some new innards) hung in frame. Linkage knuckle (new paint, new
grease) installed, Swing arm (new paint, new chain buffer, new seals, new
bearings, and whole lot of love) installed, new shock with PS 500/560
installed. Torqued nothing yet, barely coherent at 2AM so I called it a
night. Barely coherent at work now.
Need to get some photos. She looks so pirty.... I'd get it done faster but
I have to stop often to admire her, in her infancy.
