This happened to me two years ago. I was able to center the fan on the hub and epoxy it. The repair is still holding today. Fred Hink at Arrowhead Motorsports has a replacement fan blade made from aluminum for $56.66. Check it out under engine parts for the KLR here: http://www.angelfire.com/ut/fred/parts.html Jeff> >a fan without having to buy the assembly? > > This happened to me two years ago. No big chase scene, but don't forget the classic "Chopper Chicks in Zombie

I would hit either a motorcycle or perhaps even an automotive junkyard. Once you find a fan about the right size, you can rig bracketry with wire ties, coathanger wire or whatever suits you. All its gotta' do is fit in the right place, draw 12 volts DC and move air. The rest you can fake. -Tom '96 KLR 650> Hello everyone, > I purchased a 2000 KLR 650 in April and I'm loving every minute of it. It > is my first motorcycle and so my mechanical skills of very poor.
