these tires any good?

Hello my fellow 'I'm not going to Moab this year' KLR riders! On my mount right now I have a set of Kenda K257's, front and rear.  I know the list standard for Kendas is the 270, but I guess the previous owner wasn't privy to that knowledge.  Anybody know if these tires are any good?  I seem to be wearing through them rather quickly.  I usually ride 70% on-road, 30% off-road.
