[dsn_klr650] clutchless shifting klr 650
A little pause in the throttle when up shifting, a little blip when down
shifting. Clutch optional. Constant mesh tranny.

Subject: [DSN_klr650] Clutchless Shifting klr 650
A friend of mine who has a 97 KLR says he rarely uses his clutch for normal
shifting except when stopping & starting! He's been told by motorcycle
mechanics that his clutch will last longer. Hum? I've done this with dirt
bikes in loose ground conditions but what about pavement? How does the KLR
tranny cogs hold up to this?
