Hey Mike I can tell you for a fact that the "quiet" core is far from quiet. Matter of fact, it is louder than shit. I do love the sound now, but in all honesty, it is so loud it made my kids cry when I lit it up for the first time. It sounds really neat freshly packed, but it does get loud after a bit.
