But honestly I like your idea better. Used short-nap commercial carpet should be free, yes, free and you can get most spills cleaned before they soak completely through. I should have thought of how good this works from all the years of keeping my bikes in the living room. eric

Yup. City-based riders can keep a lookout for those great big truck size skip bins around office buildings which suggest that some refurbishing is going on inside. In between the serial terminals and microfiche readers, the old carpet is often the first thing to get the heave ho.

I bought the two piece Roadcrafter and the bib type attachment for the pants. When it is hot I just peel out of the whole thing and when it is cold I wear the pants like bibs. Mark McCoy
