klr in mini van

Post by Alan L Henderson » Mon May 29, 2000 9:17 pm

To all who are interested, yes you can put a KLR 650 in a Dodge minivan. It will actually fit in one of the standards as apposed to a Grand Caravan. Installed a home made wheel chock, no mirrors, no windshield, no front springs, no brush guards and handle bars rotated back. A couple sets of Ancara tie downs and I'm all set. It just clears going in the back hatch. Oh, and remove the plastic trim piece on the bottom of the opening or you will crack it when you roll the bike in. Trust me. Luckily my vans an 85 and a few cracks just look normal. Alan Henderson A13 Iowa
