russell speedbleeders

Hello, I installed a Fastline stainless steel brake line and while at it, installed a Russell sppedbleeder. My question is: These do not screw all the way into the caliper like the stock bleeders. In fact they are left with a lot of the screw thread residing outside of the caliper hole. Is this normal? Got them from Fred, so assume that they are the correct ones. thanks, Kevin Green
