Many of us use a freeware (now $1 if you register it) program called ShimCalc to do the arithmetic once we have measured and checked the current shim sizes. You can download it at: http://www.ironjungle.com/ Verle Nelson Cedaredge, CO

You don't mention how many miles on your bike. I like checking them at 500, 1500, 3000, 6000 -- keeping them at a loose .006-.008 intakes and .008-.010 exhaust. After that you can check them every 6-10,000 and tighten them to .004-.006 intakes and .006-.008 exhaust. Each shim size is worth .002". Kurt

I saw the gel cells for motorcycles at the Wal-Mart near my house. Dont know if they have the KLR size or not. I think the price was around $35.00. crazydave _______________________________________________________ Get 100% FREE Internet Access powered by Excite Visit http://freelane.excite.com/freeisp
