I would replace the shims in both intakes taking them both to .005. You'll need one size smaller on the left and two sizes smaller on the right. Kurt> Left intake -- .003 > Right intake -- .002 wouldn't fit [never had .001] > Left exhaust -- slack .006 [no .007] > Right exhaust -- .006

Hi Mark, Vibration is hard on batteries, and electronics in general. You can get pretty good results by taping the batteries together, and applying "dielectric grease" to the contacts.
