Luis, I recommend carrying a small plastic clip of some kind ( I use a small plastic hemostat) and neoprene hose that will fit on the vacuum port of your petcock. Put the neoprene hose on the vacuum port, suck on it, and while holding light suction, pinch the line with your clip and lock it. This is any easy way to drain your tank and comes in handy on the road in case a buddy needs fuel.
