Mike, Good luck. In this country we wink and let in some million? illegals a year. Yet when someone tries to visit legally they get pissy. My cousin, a prosperous lawyer from Poland also wasn't allowed to cross over from Canada. What assholes ! Bogdan

jeez, just take a different road. there must be a zillion of them that don't have border controls. when i was in switzerland last month, i headed over to germany to buy beer (cheaper and better there), and noticed there was quite a long line of cars at customs coming back. i went one town further downriver, and their customs office was uninhabited, so no line. mw

Just what I was thinking. Skirting the law always adds to the excitement. After all, some call it Adventure Touring. Knot - who really is a big scaredy cat and would never cross the border without all the paper work, but its fun to tell someone else to go for it. ps: dab a bit of mud on the license plates and scoot on down to Moab In a message dated 05/22/2000 2:00:35 PM Eastern Daylight Time, MWeaver@... writes:

Mike, show up at the border with an inner tube and swin trunks. Maybe Clinton will make a political statement and you'll get to stay at the posh Inca with Bogdan. Gino
