Some poeple have Shoei heads, others have Arai heads. In my case I have a bucket for a head and the only thing I have found that works for me is a XXXL HJC CL-12. I bought this after wearing out a CL-10 and both have been excelent helmets for me. -Tom '96 KLR 650
