nklr: suzuki bandit 600
Greetings Borg,
I don't know how I end up submitting my questions on Fridays, just when
responses start to dwindle for the weekend, but I've got another question for
any listers who are actively responding in the next few days:
I'm wondering what anyone's opinions are regarding the 2000 Suzuki Bandit
600. I am interested in a street bike at some point in the future, but I
would have very limited funds. This Suzuki seems to be the most reasonably
priced streetbike in the CC range I'm looking for. So does anyone have
experience with this bike? Any advice about other bikes with similar price
range (under $6,000)?
Thanks in advance,

Well said.... I have only owned my A12 for a few months and have added 1000
miles to the bike.
I too was undecided about the purchase and this is my first bike as well.
Now, I ride the KLR to work (12 miles one way through metro traffic) On the
weekend I ride it on twisty back roads and even hit the power line trails
when I want to get off road. It performs well for all types of riding,
just a great all around bike, I'm so glad I didn't buy a crusier or a sport
bike. If I had bought a cruiser, I'm sure I would also own a dirt bike as
well. The KLR is like 2 or 3 bikes in 1.
Ride on...
