Maybe the formation of obsidian (thanks to volcanic activity) ain't much to
you, but I'm glad my ancestors knew that this precious rock was the best
flintknapping material there was. Without the damaging effects of great
igneous rocks to flintknap, we'd be in the stone age or before!
