please god noooooo
For the love all that is holy and good in the world say it isn't so.
Kawasaki cannot be dropping the KLR 650 in favor of the KLE.
I am a 32 year old father of two who is a full time law student. The only
thing that keeps me sane is knowing that a Brand new 2001 KLR is going to be
my graduation present to myself next year(I even have the full blessing of
the love of my life who is soooo tired of hearing me whine about wanting one
she is willing ride with me once I get it).
I want, no I need, I must have, a real live honest to God trail busting,
highway eating, big ass single cylinder, earth shakin', dual sport, get back
to nature, ride it anywhere I damn well please, bike that will carry my big
ass, more gear than I will ever need, a quart of real live Kentucky bourbon
to sip on at camp, and six glorious gallons of decomposed dinosaur bones to
get me to some far off destination I won't decide on until I am halfway
there. And if I want to take the highway, a fire trail, or a damn rabbit
track to get there I want a bike that will do the job.
That 500cc two popper damn disco music looking KLE ain't it.
If I wanted an EX 500 I would have bought one in high school.
Please, someone tell me the KLR is not going to go the way of the Indians or
I will have to drop out of school, teach my children a foreign language or
four, and move to Europe where they actually seem to like DS bikes (of
course one less {wannabe}lawyer in America may not be a bad thing).
LONG LIVE THE KLR, THUMPERS FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s. road music - anything by Lyle Lovett

well, i hope that's not straight, because except for unknown greenhouse
effects, carbon dioxide is pretty benevolent. we breathe it out, it doesn't
hurt us, plants dig it, it's totally non-poisonous. what could be better. i
don't know much, but i always figured catalytic converters were more for
dealing with bad stuff. anyone smart out there?
