WD40 is 70% Stoddard solvent (white mineral spirits, a common cleaning solvent), 20% mineral oil and 10% CO2. It is not kerosene, and yes, the new squirt drives me nuts. Have tried spray bottle and refillable spray can. Clint GIJoe KLR
