Yeah, it's about time these mods were proven. They seem to get done often enough but we don't see much hard evidence of their benefit or cost effectiveness. Jim's bike seems to on par with the DR650SE that my 600 was graphed against, so the KLR650 isn't shamed by the the newer design DR.
