My fan quit at one point as well. As in the case with other problems on the KLR, the fan froze due to inadequate amounts of low-grade lubricant being applied to the bearings at the factory. While nominaly a sealed motor, the KLR fan can in fact be dissassembled and lubed. Cant tell you the details, though: due to time constraints this is one job I let my father do. -Tom '96 KLR 650

[...] Neutral light switches can leak for various reasons eventually. Without seeing your bike I can't say much more than that. Mister_T
