[dsn_klr650] nklr bbs

Post by run2hills@aol.com » Fri May 05, 2000 12:20 am

>>He drilled a hole in the driver side floorboard of his car, and installed a
funnel. >Upon someone following dangerously close, at his discretion, would commence >pouring .177 caliber "BB" ammo (out of a milk carton) into the funnel. He claims >nothing else is as effective at removing nuisances quickly. Clarification: He doesn't pour enough BBs to carpet the road and kill anyone. They bounce all over and act like gravel off the back of a dumptruck (or KLR tires- believable).
>> For a few bucks I added air rifle BBs. They are not as heavy >but they seem to work fine it took two half-pints (one pint, duh!) of BBs. >Be sure to unbolt handlebars in order to thoroughly fill.
Hum..........dual purpose? ;^) Eric A13L (for love?) PS- Since I'm a newbie I should say, yes, I love to entertain violent thoughts towards idiot drivers, but I was kidding about mounting a dispenser on the bike, even though I think tailgating a bike is a death-threat. I don't even step on ants when I'm on a sidewalk. I can provide character referrals upon request.

> > Kneel beside the front wheel, same side as brake disk, push caliper
towards wheel firmly until caliper slides in. Pump front brake lever, it will be soft to non-existant, but after you pump it up, Congratulations! You just bled your front brake ! If you have to, do it twice, and your brake lever will be as stiff as it was brand new.>

Does this work on the rear brake too (with the obvious changes in position and pumping of course)? dat brooklyn bum _______________________________________________________ Get 100% FREE Internet Access powered by Excite Visit http://freelane.excite.com/freeisp
