I'm installing new Progressive fork springs part # 11-1151 and also replacing oil with a heavier grade 15 wt oil my problem is that I can't get the friggin fork caps back on. I cut the spacers down to 3.25 inches and still can't get the caps on... What Gives?? The springs (with forks completely uncompressed) are about 2 inches from the top of fork tubes... Does that sound about right!! I have the oil level at 6.5 inches (w/ forks compressed) from top of tube... Is that Peachy?? According to the archives, many people trimmed a mere .5 to 1 inch from spacer so how the hell did they get that cap back on!! I'm in my mid thirties, 6'5" tall and 255lbs at 12% Bf and work out religiously.... So why can't I get these little ole caps on?? My God, Am I turnin' into a wimp? Thanks, Todd
