Little hole? Not the drain plug right? (hey you never know) I've got my water pump off, I'll look at it tonight when I get unshackled from my desk. It allows a failing water pump water seal or oil seal to let you know they are failing by leaving a drip. If the hole didn't exist then a failed water seal would eventually push water past the oil seal.

Not good, but not real bad. My 600 has leaked like this for a few years. Leaks oil there, too.

If that's 750km from brand spanking new, then it's a warranty issue. It unlikely to stop if you leave it, and would eventually get worse. Mister_T

The mixture screw controls the flow from the idle system in the carby, The idle system controls mixture at idle and low speed running. The wider the throttle opening and higher the load, the less the mixture screw affects the overall mixture. Mister_T
