dimensioning with parallel line tool

Post by gsettera@comcast.net » Wed Oct 26, 2016 6:25 pm

I am testing 8.2.1 build 284.  after creating the tutorial plans, I attempted to add dimensions to the rooms.  The dimension arrows sometime snap to the outer line (the reference line for the parallel tool) and sometimes snap to the drawn line.  This results in the dimensions being off by the width of the "wall".  Is there some setting that can alleviate this problem?  I am using osx 1.9.5.  Thanks.

Hello,
please e-mail your drawing to support@lemkesoft.de (as a zipped version).

Hello,
I figured it out.  I didn't notice that the Freehand selection tool was a snap to grid tool.  All is good now.
