layer filter definition

Post by RowlandCarson » Thu Nov 06, 2014 12:44 pm

Thorsten - it appears that the only way to define layer filters in CADintosh 7 is to first manually set up viewing the layers one wishes to include in the filter, then use the “Define with current …” menu item. I guess I can get used to working in this new way, but I miss the ability to define layer filters in the dialogue box that was available in CADintosh 6 from the menu item “Layer/Filter…” because that seemed easier, particularly when wanting to define several filters at once. Is there any plan to bring the layer filters dialogue box back again?

Dear Rowland,

the old method was much more complex and not often used.
Simple enable the layers as required and define a new set.
