Thorsten - thanks for that. I'm sorry I hadn't spotted it in the options window. However, the first character I tried was "§" and this was not effective - the whole line appeared as the entered string. I find that "@" and "|" do work, so that is OK for now. For the future, you might like to check why "§" is not honoured when chosen as the newline separator.
