Thorsten: Months ago, I reported that CADIntosh was crashing when I put a file on the dock (i.e., hit the yellow button). Intel Mac, OS 7.2. I just downloaded the newest beta, 75b0, and have had a file on the doc for 20 minutes; no crashes. It looks like that problem is gone. Thanks. john

Thorsten - thanks for this re-write; having done some porting between various programming languages in the past I have some appreciation of how much work is involved.

I am pleased to note straight away that the "open recent file" menu now displays correctly with the most recently-used file at the top. I wonder if it is possible to provide an option to display EITHER the full pathname (as now) OR only the filename (as GraphcConverter does). If it is difficult to provide the 2 choices, I would prefer the behaviour to be as in GraphicConverter (ie show ONLY the filename, NOT the full pathname).

However, this request for the "open recent file" menu is a minor point, and is less important to me than making elliptical objects behave like normal circular objects. I want to be able to connect other entities to them and trim them, etc. Also drawing elliptical arcs doesn't appear to work as I would expect - the start and finish angles are never where I click. I have been making that request for some years and I assume it is very difficult to do since you have not responded positively to any of my requests. I hope that as part of this re-write you may be able to consider making elliptical entities behave like circles and circular arcs.

I just downloaded your new beta 7.5.0b1.
Two interesting problems.1. I could not copy and paste my user name and serial numberusing command C and command V from where I had stored those as (foldernames). I had to type both into the registration window.2. There were no entries under Open Recent File. I was just usingthe released version two weeks ago and was surprised that the filesthat I opened then were not shown. However files which I have openedusing the new beta are shown.
I really want to test this version to see if it solves problems Iuse to have printing selected areas of windows. The old version(7.0.2) did not allow me to select what I wanted to print.
