I released a new beta today:

This beta does fix the three bugs reported by Rowland on February 11.

Also, this beta supported again background tiff images (now displayed with Quartz).

Thorsten - thanks for the new beta.

Yes, the tab key now works correctly to change the point selection
mode, and the red x & circle do not remain after use.

The "open recent file" menu now appears to work in the correct sense
(most recent at top) but still shows full pathname.

V6.1.1 cannot open a file created by the 6.5 beta, and crashes after
showing a dialogue to this effect.

The pop-up menu for previous co-ordinates entry is still not working.

New report - the previous behaviour of allowing data pairs to be
separated by a space character (in metric dimensions) is no longer
working, I have to key an explicit comma char.

Thorsten - I find that the "dim TIFFs" menu item does not work. It
works OK for me in 6.1.1.

It is essential to be able to dim the imported image, so that drawn
lines can be clearly differentiated from the background imported
image.
