Open issues in this beta
* hatching with pattern does not display

Thorsten - the issue I have reported several times is still
outstanding. The "open recent" sub-menu shows the files in the
reverse order to normal (as seen in GraphicConverter v5.9.5 and all
other applications which use this feature). The most recently-opened
file is at the bottom. Also, it shows the full filepath which (for
me) is an unwanted level of detail and much harder to read.

New bugs:

After using the automatic location of points, the red circle with an
x remains visible after the new object is drawn. During construction
of a new object, the red circle-x is nor replaced by a small blue x
as normally happens.

The tab key does not cause a change in the auto-location choie as
previosuly happens - instead tab chars are inserted into the data
entry line line

I can post screenshots if that helps.

Ti PowerBook G4, 1GHz, 1GB RAM, Mac OS 10.4.11

I'll report if I find any other issues with this beta.

Thorsten - just noticed the beta perpetuates several existing bugs
that have been present in all releases of v6 so far.

The pop-up menu at the bottom right-hand corner where previous data
entry should appear for choosing again does not work at all. (Works
OK in v5.5.3.)

The "open recent" menu offers the recently-opened files in REVERSE
order, and includes full pathnames which makes them very hard to
read. (Works OK, like GraphicConverter, in v5.5.3.)

A new problem is that version 6.1.1 will not open files created with
the 6.5 beta, and crashes if I try to open a file created in 6.5.
That makes me not want to waste much time on working in the beta and
finding bugs for you if I can't then use the files in the older less
buggy version. This has not previously been a problem (eg I can open
v6 files with CADintosh v5).

I added now first support for TIFF with quartz.

I fix that issues as the next steps.
