Re: CADintosh 7.5b2
Thorsten: I used 7.5.0b2 for an hour, modifying a previously drawn house. Everything (but one small item) seems to be working just fine, even leaving a file on the dock; that no longer causes a crash. For the various patterns used to fill shapes, the "Concrete" does nothing. I forgot to mention that on the previous version, too. No pattern appears when you select Concrete; every other pattern fills in just fine. Thanks. john

Attachments :
On the latest beta, small filled circles (used here to symbolise wire connexions) appear with small protrusions at 45 degrees. Also thick lines have rounded ends, not straight as before.
I attach screengrabs of the PDF from the latest beta, the PDF from the earlier v6 and the drawing as seen in the beta. Note that the strange effects only appear when the drawing is printed.

Thorsten - I have tried the latest beta (7.5.0b4) and find that it gives unexpected artefacts when printing. I attach some screenshots to illustrate the difference from earlier versions.> I released a new BETA at:

Today I uploaded a zipped version, and put it at the top-level in the Yahoo! group files area (ie NOT in any folder). It's called "main circuit v04.cadx.zip" and is 165k (so much for the compression of zip!).
Please let me know if you have a problem accessing either of these files, or if you need to see a copy of the file from before the CADX format.

Thorsten - yesterday I uploaded the original file from which the screenshots were made and put it in the Yahoo! group files area, in the folder called "problems". It's called "main circuit v04.cadx" and is 124k. Maybe you didn't see the posting to the group announcing the upload.> Please upload zipped.
