Thanks Chris,    this is super, it will be a great addition to my B9 library.  But now instead of just upgrading my treadsections, I may have to redo most of my old B9! Not! But maybe some stuff.  But for anyone building new, this would be the ultimate research tool.    Reminds me of I recently went through seasons two and three on the newly released DVDs and tracked the colors, type and positions of the belly light lenses to see how they changed over time.  Actually in season 3 they stayed the same the whole season!  Season 2 they varied somewhat from time to time. I had to stop and step through back and forth as lights on or off behind the lenses can be deceiving. So my point is, I can t even imagine how much time and effort you have put into this project.  Can t wait for it to arrive.   Bob G. Thanks, Dave, for that awesome review! Those who know me will know the lengths I will go through to make something as good as it can possible be.  This collection is the result of that drive. To make the best robot parts, I knew that I had to have the best reference library.  One didn t exist, so I made it. Having information like this at your disposal is invaluable.  I m sure everyone wants their robot to be as accurate as possible, and what s the key to achieving that goal?  Visual reference.  In order to have accuracy, you have to have reference. I spent months putting together the material for the disk, not including decades of tracking down publicity photos, sometimes buying the same ones three or more times to upgrade the quality. For the screen caps, I literally went through every scene.  Back and forth, over and over trying to get every bit of data possible on the robot. To get a handle on the changes the robot underwent, I named the files with an FO-## (filmed order) prefix so they could be viewed in the order that the episodes were filmed.  This was especially important for the third season where many episodes were not aired in the order they were filmed. I ended up with more than 6,500 frames.  You get it all; close-ups, extreme close-ups medium shots and long shots. There are so many things yet to be discovered about the robot.  One revelation from this project has been the definitive rib count which I have already shared with the group. Hi fellow B9 builders, I have an exciting announcement! ............... As I've hinted the past few days we've added a new club vendor................... We're fortunate to have had Chris Pappas approach us wanting to offer the club an amazing collection of over 6500 high resolution screen shots from virtually every shot the robot ever appeared in. Tat's not all! there is also other media included like publicity shots and proof sheets. It's an amazing collection and the detail of every shot and resolution offered is stunning! Chris's attention to every detail in this collection is head shaking. You've got to see them to really appreciate this! This offering is going to be an amazing aid to anyone building a B9 Robot weather you are scratch building or building with acquired parts. There's really nothing I can say that can describe the quality and details you will see in every shot and how valuable this will be to anyone building a B9. So please visit Chris's vendor page for a full description of this unique reference material. There are a number of sample pictures there that you can click on that will take you stright to a full resolution HD screen shot. Near the bottom you'll will find a easy to use PayPal button to order. Here's the direct link: http://www.b9robotbuildersclub.com/pub/parts/B9chris/index.html Enjoy and happy building! I have just kept on reading and reading... just imagine when B9 was built for the series, who would have thought that there would be a group of people looking at details to recreate the Robot. If there were a way to go back in time and record their process and later interview them I wonder what more would we know :)
Well I sent out for mine :)

Well, the programming bay discovery is out of the bag! I guess I’ll finish my write up for the list and post it. Stay tuned!J  Thank you for the testimonial, Craig!  Chris    From: B9Builders@yahoogroups.com [mailto:B9Builders@yahoogroups.com]

I concur!!

When Chris first told me about his idea to put together this DVD and how many screen caps it would include I was blown away. I told him I would be his first customer! David S. beat me to it though, lol.

I've had many discussions with Chris these past few months on some robot details, and he has sent me some of these screen caps to support our discussions. I can tell you the quality and clarity of these pictures is incredible! There is a screen cap of the Programming Bay that will blow your mind! not only does it show clearly some never before seen detail, you can actually see some components up inside the robot!

There is also a screen cap of the power pack that is so clear you can almost read the serial number of the Librascope part. Just incredible. There has always been differing opinions on whether the power pack used phone plugs (as we use mostly in the club) or banana plugs. Many old time "insiders" have told me they were banana plugs. Case closed! They are phono plugs clear as day!

This is a must have reference if you ask me. Thanks Chris for offering this incredible resource to the club.

Craig

That's great! Congratulations Chris! I know Chris is very attentive to detail having purchased B-205 LIS console meter from him in the past. Certainly a welcome addition

This is awesome!! An absolute must. I already ordered mine. The pics are just so clean and clear! Even from just the sample pictures on the club site I already noticed screws visible where the claws go into the wrist attached to that disk inside the wrist. I never noticed those before! I don't think they were always there.                                          -Roy

Chris,
The sample reference pictures look fantastic.  Can only imagine the amount of effort it took to compile all 6500 of them.
Looking forward to getting the disk and checking them out.  Going to have to carve out a bit of time.
6500 x 10 min/pic = 65000 min = 1083 hours = 27 work weeks = my wife is not going to be happy :)

The link for the disk is:

I ve known Chris for a long time, and I can personally attest to his amazing attention to detail in all things Lost in Space, and many other sic-fi shows as well.

He has inspected many original props, is familiar with period construction techniques and can identify period materials as well. Chris s forensic ability is

unparalleled in my experience, and where individuals closer to the source have been available, he has investigated. I can t imagine tackling a history of

the B9 Robert on our website without his & Craig s wise counsel. His new exhaustive new offering of images of the B9 hero prop will be a big boon to us

builders and anyone who wants to better understand what the original robot looked like and how it evolved during it s life on the original show.

With Chris joining our fine roster of club vendors, I think great new things are going to happen for us over the

next year or two. Welcome Chris in your new capacity! We ve got to catch up, I m going to order my B9 DVD soon!

Group,
Can someone remove me from these group e-mails.  I have tried to do it and it says I am but I still keep getting them.  I am making a job change and would like this e-mail removed if possible.  I can get added back on once I find out what my new e-mail is going to be.
Thanks,

Has anyone else ordered the disc of hi-res photos?  I only ask because I placed my order last week and haven't received anything to either confirm my order or to say it has been dispatched.
