Droid and Robot builders gathering in Tampa Florida Feb 18th - 21st

Post by Blake Mann » Sat Jan 23, 2016 10:28 am

Hi All:

Just sending out a reminder that the robot builders gathering is less
than a month away!

Officially it starts at 10:00 AM Fri (Feb 19th) and goes until 4:00 PM
Sunday (Feb 21st).

Saturday from 12:00 til 1:30 there will be a BBQ with sandwiches, hot
dogs, hamburgers and refreshments. So come for the food and stay for the
robotics chat.

I'm hoping to have a drone demonstration (weather permitting) on Sat or
Sun I'll let you know soon.

For those that plan to stay for more than a single day there is a
reasonably priced hotel less than 10 minutes from my house and a very
easy drive.

Ruskin Hotel:
3113 East College Ave.
Ruskin, FL 33570
Phone: 813-641-3437

And if for some strange reason if you get bored of talking about robots
and want to explore the area there are several interesting things to do.

1. For the train enthusiasts there is a train museum just 10 miles South
in Parish.

Also if you want to drive about an hour North there is another
miniature train that you can ride on.
