First real glamour shots of my build

Hey all, these are the first good pics I've taken of my b9 with my "nice" camera.  Left to do:
  • Power Pack
  • New waist plate (you can see it leaning against the wall)
  • Install New Norman S cup and bracket and animate brain
  • Animate waist
  • ???
It's taken me about 2.5 years to get him to here and I can't convey the amount of nerd-joy this thing brings me.  Whether I'm sipping coffee, ice water, gin, wine or beer (clearly I'm not picky...), I can sit and stare for hours.  I enjoy "what is" but also enjoy calculating what "will be".  My bar is much lower than many others' (yes, I'm talking to you Dave S, Greg L, Craig R, and many more of you damn over-achievers ;-), but he's more than I'd ever thought I'd have. 


Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you for patiently helping my lame arse as I've meandered my way through this process.  You all are truly awesome!

It's a Clean build! I know exactly how you feel, We All Do! Very happy for you, but you are not done yet. You see, we all think that we are done, but then we get the itch wanting more and more until the time your B9 is ready to serve you. Hey, a few guys are paving they way..... ;-)

Jeff, He looks like the real thing! Very nice. Only 2.5 years? How'd you get all this done so quick and still look so great? If you really followed my lead it would have taken you 7 years to get this far. You would have had to do everything 3 times to get it right. Really, great work. How about a action video showing off his sparkle?

Hey all, these are the first good pics I've taken of my b9 with my "nice" camera.  Left to do:
  • Power Pack
  • New waist plate (you can see it leaning against the wall)
  • Install New Norman S cup and bracket and animate brain
  • Animate waist
  • ???

It's taken me about 2.5 years to get him to here and I can't convey the amount of nerd-joy this thing brings me.  Whether I'm sipping coffee, ice water, gin, wine or beer (clearly I'm not picky...), I can sit and stare for hours.  I enjoy "what is" but also enjoy calculating what "will be".  My bar is much lower than many others' (yes, I'm talking to you Dave S, Greg L, Craig R, and many more of you damn over-achievers ;-), but he's more than I'd ever thought I'd have. 


Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you for patiently helping my lame arse as I've meandered my way through this process.  You all are truly awesome!

Jeff, he's absolutely brilliant, perfect. After watching LIS on bluray, you really see how rough around the edges the B9 was.  It was obviously having to be patched up during filming.  What our members are doing now is producing an outstanding perfectly finished b9 better in finish dare I say it than the original.
