I know this is not B9 related but it is Lost in Space related. I just watched an episode of Columbo and there was a scene where Columbo is talking to a boy genius. The boy introduces a robot he has made and in comes Robby but with a completely different lower section.

Ya! I remember this one. I was excited to see it and was wondering about the bastardization of such a classic robot. All I could come up with in my mind was that they needed a easy way to move the robot around quickly on stage.

I completely agree with you Dave, they had even changed the chest plate. I was watching this episode and It took me completely by surprise when it rolled in, I thought what on earth had they done and why. I guess they reunited him with his leg section afterwards, lol.

When I first glanced at the picture, it looked like a technical blending of Robbie the robot with a Dalek, like maybe they both stepped into the machine on the show about the human fly.

I am not so sure that the top Dalek would look so scary with Robbie's legs....it does seem to paint a humorous picture....Kind of hard to terrorize the world when people keep laughing at you....
