The good news/Bad news.

Post by dmw0dmw » Sat Oct 31, 2015 12:23 pm

I set up the robot and the mechanism that leans the robot forward broke.

So bad news, No robot for halloween.

Good news. I got a full day of breaking down the robot completed.

I had been waiting until Halloween was over.

It's "Wreck of the Robot" day.

Dennis, even the head lit up in a window makes a pretty impressive display, or how about the robot holding his own head like the headless horse man. Herb C

Dennis,

Well, at least you were at home - have that same problem happen at a convention on the first day - really puts a different spin on it. Yes, B9Greg has done it.

What I have found is that pulling on the front of the leg section puts a lot of stress on the hip movement mechanism - also check your air struts - these will go bad.

Sorry you had problems - but this kind of stuff is where we improve what we have to prevent it in the future.

Later,

Greg
