Sandy, Not sure if you care but If they were flashers then there would be times when both were on at the same time which would not be very authentic looking. Herb C

Dennis, I know what you are looking for... You want a direct LED
replacement bulb for the 1" Dialight sockets. Not something you have
to modify or wire... direct 12V LED bulb replacements in Red and Green,
just like the ones you saw in my robot last weekend. The ones I have are
quite old... dated 2005! But they work great and are nice and bright with
really vibrant colors. And run very cool. They are barrel shaped, so no
flair-out at the end. These were made by LEDtronics, Inc. (GREEN):

Yes I was very happy with them.
They also have a great range of BA9s LEDs I used in the coloured belly lights. I first tried thesehttps://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/ba9s-ba7s/ba9s-led-bulb-4-led-ba9s-retrofit-car/6/
These fitted in the lamp holders perfectly and they also come in 6 volt so they work with the Tom Wizz light controller. I did find though they are fairly bright and you can see the bright spots of the each LED through the lenses. I then tried thesehttps://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/ba9s-ba7s/ba9s-led-bulb-1-led-ba9s-retrofit-car/4/
These LEDs look much better through the lens, much more even light..... but..... they fitted perfectly in the lamp holder but they didn't quite fit diameter wise within the lens. I ended up having to file some of the thickness from the band between the end cap and the dome until I could slide it into the lens. A bit tedious, but worth it for a better, more traditional look, I think.
Something else to note, both these LEDs are NOT polarity sensitive , like a normal incandescent globe is, so if using the Tom Wizz lighting controller, the diodes he supplies with the kit ARE required to be fitted as per his instructions for correct operation of the controller.

Steve
You keep coming with more great info.  I was going to look for led replacements for the belly lights and you've come up with them saving me to search for them.  I think you should let Dave know about these to put on the club site on the 'off the shelf' parts section.  Thanks again.
