Chris, There was one on Ebay a few days ago. It's over $20K and whoever has it for sale has been trying to sell it for years on Ebay. Be careful. Here's the link:

Thanks, Dave. That one would fit the bill, except that it is overpriced as you stated. J Chris

Here is what I believe on this robot for sale - (I might be wrong - but I don't think so)
Collar is made from David Painter's blueprints - meaning it's a little too tall.
Treadsection is not metal - every treadsection that I have seen had the soil sample door included - unless it was not metal.
personally, I think the price is on the high side - but that's just my thought.
Later,
Greg

Yes it has been posted for years. I've also seen a full size Robby (I assume one of Fred's) and the pics look to be taken in the same home.

Some interesting reading here:
Anyone know the seller HUMEV on eBay?
Anyone know the seller HUMEV on eBay? This guy seems to buy up everything in sight. He must have a warehouse to store all the props he's been buying up -and then selling at a very nice profit.

Evidently, the seller is a rather wealthy collector, and certain items he offers at outrageous prices. If they sell, he gets a big pile of $$$, if they don't, he gets to keep the item.
@ Chris - be patient. You can do a *lot* better on price. for $22K, I'd expect the B9 to dance.

I bought a Star Trek prop from him a few years ago. He outbid me on it during the It's A Wrap auctions. He resold it to me (for more money of course). He's kinda rude in his emails and doesn't respond when you have questions. I'll never buy from him again. He's had his stuff on ebay for years. -Roy
