The B9 Transformation has begun to First Season Robot

Post by toborthegreat00150 » Sun Sep 13, 2015 1:53 am

Attachments : Hello Builders:   Just started the work on changing my robot to the first season. Want to have this done in a few weeks since the shows are coming up.   Just have to paint the chest (won't even have to remove any of the chest lights), going to mask off stuff very carefully. Leaving the radar turning static for now. Less moving parts, the better for transportation.   Radar and claws will be done. Going to use the clear ears.   The neon is going to be changed too. Going to use first season static buttons for now then put my push buttons maybe by the end of the year. Have some issues with the brain section but should have that taken care of.  Wish me luck.   Victor B9-0082

Hello Builders:   I sure will keep you posted on the progress of the first season robot. Going to take a few short cuts but they most definitely won't affect the quality of the robot. It really is spaying the front chest, claws, radar and have my first season buttons ready.    Going to use the lighting device that is already in the robot to light the buttons (Light Box), then later in the later months or next year, install the push buttons. Got the clear ears thanks to Bill K.. These robot is really built well.   Just having some electrical issues with the head section, but I will get through this. Another task is changing the neon tube, should not be a problem. If any CSS issues that I can't track, I may have to by-pass the CSS electronics. Hey sound like a heart surgeon here.   Thanks Guys.   Victor B9-0082   In a message dated 9/13/2015 2:15:39 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, B9Builders@yahoogroups.com writes:

Hello Vic,

I know that you are excited to get started in the transition. Excited with a mixture of anticipation. Hope it goes well for you. It was neat seeing your picture of it partially disassembled, but some of the lights working. For me, there is nothing like being able to take something apart to see how it works. You have a great knowledge of the B9, so this will surely be a big help for you. With time more than anything else, you will get there.

David
