Correct me if I'm wrong but the need for a resistor to equalize current in parallel wired LEDs is needed when using discreet LEDs raw so to speak. I'm using 12v BA9 replacement LEDs built into a BA9 bayonet base and are described as plug-and-play replacements for incandescent bulbs. These would already have a built-in resistor I'm thinking.

That explains the 3 volts. 3 volts for a forward working voltage of a diode is unheard of (or at least I never heard of it). These have internal resistors. You can parallel as many as you want with no additional components.

The power cable on the loose is from Season 2 "A Trip Through The Robot" the robot manual is also from Season 2 and is in the "Wreck of the Robot." I've actually seen a replica of the book jacket used to make that prop.
