filling the water tank

on my 98 trek 28 ft... the fresh water inlet valve is labelled OFF at 12 o'clock, and ON at 3 o'clock. When I turned it to 6 o'clock, the tank filled much faster. Try it. If it works, I suggest you label 6 o'clock MOReON. jim kelley
