I have installed DRL on my 1997 TREK last year before my Alaska trip. You can obtain the DRL module at any Chevy dealer for the P30 chassis for about 60 bucks. The GM part number is : 12370445, and the wiring is straight forward. I located the module in a space under my headlight switch, left side , under the cup holder-ashtray etc. The instructions are very good and it took perhaps an hour depending on how good you are at locating wires!!!!!
