Dometic Refrigerator - Temperature Control

Post by Jim Kelley » Mon Apr 17, 2000 11:04 am

There is no temp. control knob or dial on the Dometic, but there is a technique which enables you to adjust the temperature. Look at the fins at the rear of the box. The rightmost fin should be covered by a plastic sleeve; with a wire exiting from the bottom. The sleeve is used to clamp the temp.sensing bulb (at the end of the wire) against the fin. To adjust the box temp., slide the sleeve - and the hidden bulb - up or down on the fin. To make the box colder, slide the sleeve up (towards the top) To make the box warmer, slide the sleeve down (towards the bottom) Hint... Think North is up, north is cold. South is down, south is warm. Jim Kelley
