QUERY - Daylight Driving Lights

Has anyone wired the low beam headlights either direct to the ignition switch or to a manual switch; to enable them to be used as daylight driving lights? Would appreciate information Am told that Camping World has done this for Treks The factory says they do it, but only for Canadian vehicles. Thanks ..... Jim Kelley
